Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born on March 4, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress comedian, writer, and actress. O'Hara has received a variety of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also received two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honored with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara first became known as an actress while she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Together with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main ensemble cast for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). She won the attention of critics both for her writing abilities and acting, and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
