Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born August 19, 1965. She is an American producer and actress. Her most famous character is that of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. Sedgwick received two Emmy Awards in 2010 as well as 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. The series ended following the seventh season. Sedgwick is also known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's films roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992), Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
