Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971 was a South African radio and television journalist and war correspondent. She was an official CBS News correspondent from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually inaccurate, politically biased report in 2012 Benghazi as "the most regrettable mistake I've made in 10 years." In 2019 she was hired by Sinclair Broadcast Group. This conservative media company. The company was acquired by Fox Nation, a subscription streaming platform run by Fox News, in January 2020. She claimed that she was "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan was a student as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) and then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she was hired by Reuters Television Africa as a senior production producer. After four years she branched into freelance journalism, landing reports as a reporter and editor/producer for ITN as well as Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. Reporting on news events like the bombings that took place in 1998 at the United States Embassy in Nairobi and Tanzania, conflicts in Northern Ireland and the Kosovo conflict, she worked for CNN.
